I have been an artist most of my life. I am multi-faceted and can't seem to direct myself into one and only one art form. I love it all! What can I say? And I wouldn't have it any other way. Art to me should not be work, but must always, be a part of play.
Here are some of the things I keep busy with: Sculpture - ceramic, stone and in the past wood. Now I have gone to smaller things and am sculpting in Prosculpt doing some Art Dolls. I like to airbrush, acrylic paint, do watercolors, silk paintings and of late painting magnetic Name Trains. You can see some of my fun, recent things at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/artzygirl7 as well as my other little shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/artzygirl7J One is for my basic artistic endevors, while the other one is mainly for the miniatures I create. Hope you enjoy looking.
Might I add, I have also in my life, loved to write. Poetry and philosophy of life, have been woven together, while trying to figure it all out. Anyone have the answers yet? I do know who to go to for them, thank goodness! It's the application to life that is the more difficult part since we, as human beings are quite complex.
Many years ago, I also wrote music on the piano and songs too, but I can't read music and so goes - I can't write it either. The pieces therefore, are in my head and in my hands. The words are at least written and tell my hands where to go from there.
I have several books yet to write and my poetry to be collected up and bound. The question is. . . in this life time, with all of my other projects? I will have to seriously ponder that one and at least get back to work on them.
Anyone have any suggestions on HOW to get it all done?
You can see some of my older work at www.sculpturedlife.com Since my son is a busy man chasing a two year old and does programming for the Navy, I don't think I will bother him to update my site any time soon.
